About 25 years ago I left Cern for the second time and entered my period of retirement.
Now on 13th July 2010 we returned for a few days to Geneva. Th easy jet plane was a bit late but we were met by Arline and Roert Simon and taken first to our hotel, the Suite, and then to supper at a restaurant just up the road. They insisted on paying the bill despite my futile attempts to settle it myself
It was very warm, ut tired as we were we enjoyed a reasonable night's sleep.!
Next morning , breakfast in our room and then off to town. We found our way to the Cathedral and enjoyed looking at the ruiins underground until we felt a bit lost and emerged having purchased a ook to understand a bit of what we had seen!
Next a visit to the Reformation wall in the Jardins des Bastion

Wonderful to hear from you, and thanks for the picture. Yup, I can recognise my mother. Hope you get to see lots in Geneva, take lots of pictures and have a really good time.
