To Turners Hill for a family celebration splendidly hosted by Phil and Jackie. It was to celebrate Nigel's 70th yesterday and Rosemary and Peter's golden wedding. Lots of family, James's, Medcalf's, Fishers's and Peter's cousin and hia wife. Lots of young people, Jennifer not able to come, Susie and Holie intended coming but did not. Chris gave us plants that she had brought from Peterborough. A hot sunny day, a very nice gathering!
